Head unit & USB retrofit parts from M3 E92 to use on non-M E93

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but I've come across two cars that are being wrecked for parts and wondered if I can salvage part to do some retrofits on my E93 325i, with I-Drive and Base audio system.

First question:
The M3 E92 I mentioned has the HiFi head-unit and USB connection, which I wondered if I can use on my car. I've asked the seller to see if the car has had an IDrive as well or not, will that make a difference?

as I said my E93 is Base Audio with Professional Nav but no USB

Second Question:
There is a F30 320i being wrecked as well with IDrive, will I be able to salvage any parts to do a NBT retrofit?

I know I'd have to code any of the above for them to work but my main question is around compatibility with E93

if the first car have USB socket in armrest you can remove module socket and wiring.
Last one will be a bit complicated though.

Thanks for that. I don't think my head unit has the usb input thou. I might need the head unit or MULF2HIGH?

Not sure but as mine is a 2007 model don't think just the usb/aux port and wiring would do the job.

Any thoughts?

you need to remove MULF2HIGH, wiring and USB socket from wrecked M3
if M3 is 2011MY and do not have Idrive there may be Professional Radio headunit with intergrated USB
