Had an issue today (twice) when trying to start my car. Put the fob in the dash, all the lights were working, iDrive turns on, but there was no *click* after the key was inserted. Pressing the start button did absolutely nothing. No cranking whatsoever. Don't know how I came to the conclusion to try this, but I disconnected one of the battery terminals for a few minutes, reconnected, then the car started right up. No long cranking time or otherwise. What could this possibly be?
