Best method to stretch rear fenders ?
I saw the jack heat gun phone book method and the bat one too.Gotta be a better way. Any input appreciated. I'm looking to roll them but it may not be enough.

I've seen those. Watched the video before posting. Will they stretch too or just roll the inner?

A fender roller will pull the fenders if you keep going. I've pulled mine about 5mm using an Eastwood roller. The outer metal isn't any different than the inner lip, it will bend with pressure.
Don't use a bat, it's uneven. A bat is used pretty much if you're too cheap to get a fender roller, I've used one when I had to just get a tiny bit of clearance and didn't have a roller handy. But if you're trying to pull a fender, I wouldn't do it, it will take forever and be uneven. I've also used the phone book on a previous car. It only works if your fenders are already rolled and probably pulled. If your fenders are stock, you have no control of whether it will roll your fender or pull it or both. An Eastwood is pretty cheap, they sell them directly on eBay for like $150 or less sometimes. I picked one up because I was tired of renting them. You can rent one for like $50. A roller gives you much more control. |

It can definitely be done without making it noticeable. Mine got pulled out a few mm but you could never tell. Just don't pull too much where the bumper and fender meet or they wont line up Ive seen plenty of pictures that look like that and it looks horrible. Also don't pull too much on one spot.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181671417119...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT works fine and is bmw hub centric. I rolled mine and slightly pulled them to run 275/35 on 10" with et25 |
