Tuning FLASH for F-series.. Extra ordinary news !!

Hey guys, I was on quest to seek best tuner and asked Brentuning a year before, they answered "We will have one soon! Finishing up the developmental stage right now"

Just about today, I sent them a message and they replied:

"Hello we are finishing up F-series bmw flash tunes right now!"

This is by far the best news for tuning, at least for me because I can't Imagine myself sending my ECU for flash

Flash tune as in OBD2 only, without the need to have access to the ECU OR
flash tune with access to the ECU like its currently also possible, but its closer to you so that you can just drive there without sending the ECU?

Unless they can offer something similar to Cobb, im not sure what the big news is.
Lots of companies are offering a flash tune if you can send your ECU to them.

I can't send my ECU as I use my car daily I can't leave it strained for a week.
I'm waiting on Monday to call them directly and confirm. if it's Flash via OBD2 then it's way better it will be over in matter of hour or so !

I know the tool makers now offer a toolset to open up the ECU once and then be able to do all subsequent flash tunes via OBDII but I've not heard anyone offering tools to flash FlexRay based Bosch ECUs without having to open them up at least the once.

Is this for real?

But if they flash with the OBD port that gets caught by the flash counter doesn't it therefore void the warranty when that is checked??

I think so, just emailed them to ask if it's detectable, how much gains ect. and they were rude enough to answer this "if you are worried about warranty i would not mod the car"
I don't appreciate it, as this is a question on behalf of all on forum, obvious I don't care about warranty if you look at my sign.. if they keep coming in like that. they are out of my list !

They could have simply said that, I am willing to take risk. even so I can just call them and remove tune via flash too. I think it's that simple ?!

You and your tuning options.... :lol

I doubt they have released the first true OBD2 flash.

Great news guys, it was a misunderstanding of different language. I just emailed them with couple questions and they replied,
-It's not detectable
-Requires only laptop+ethernet cable !
