Help me find a place to track my car
Here is my story. This would only be the second time I tracked a car. I'm a novice, and I do not want to get really crazy.
My issue is I work weekends. Where is there an event like hooked on driving in either the Baltimore or Pittsburgh area, or just an open auto-cross/track day on a Wednesday or a Thursday that I could take my car. My father tools around with his car (a Chrysler Crossfire), and I think it would be a good Father's Day gift to take him also. Thanks for any help! And I know I'm a super novice!

Looks like they have some evening events but not on Wed. or Thurs. I've been to BeaveRun twice, now PittRace, and it's a nice easy track to learn and a proper road course. Make the effort, even if you just go to spectate the first time. Last edited by G30 B58; 05-14-2015 at 06:28 AM.. |

Summit Point (WV) has FATT (Friday's at the Track) every Friday. It's on the expensive side, but they have instructors available. http://summitpoint-raceway.com/progr...-at-the-track/
Audi Club Mid-Atlantic and Trackdaze usually have a Monday/Tuesday at VIR, but that's a haul from PA. NJMP has a few scattered weekdays available: http://www.njmp.com/trackdays/ |

Decent list of what's going on during the days you are interested in. Not 100% complete but a solid start point |

SCDA as well.
Track days are usually NOT on weekends mainly because weekends are race days. Also there is a new thing called Track Nights where you can get like an hour of track time at specific tracks on weeknights.
