Anyone try these?
Seems to work well and could be faster than claying.

I used it for my new car prep full detail. The 6" fine pad, on my Rupes DA. MUCH faster than claying, and they work very well. As far as I could tell, there was extremely little to no micro-marring (which was polished out anyways if it was there). Just make sure you have TONS of lube (always a good thing ) I also used the little block for my bumper and hard to reach places. Worked beautifully. The tech has really advanced a lot in the detailing world.

I had the polishing pad for my PC and it worked, but now I use the sponges. They are still MUCH faster than clay and you have more control over what you're doing. I think there is less chance for marring since you're more likley to notice if a small piece of debris gets trapped under the sponge. Between these sponges and Iron-X, I don't even own any clay anymore.

I just used it but the sponge version not the pad for a Polisher. Much faster than claying, and like precious person said, use plenty of lube.
They also have two grades, fine and medium. Unless you have a ton of paint contaminants, get the "fine" version as medium can leave marring. |
