JB4 problems

Hey everyone recently had JB4 installed and absolutely love the results. Just one problem, it seems that every time I use map 5 it's like it misfires right when I hit around 60mph or after downshifting. I step on it and next thing I know a SES light pops up. I just thought okay I'll go to map one until I mod a little more but then it happened on map 1 a few times. So I tested it out on stock and there have been no problems so I can't think of what it could be. If anyone has had similar problems let me know or know what's going on please let me know.
Thank guys,
Brian

Bought the car about two months ago so not sure on what they did with service but I'm bringing it into bmw tomorrow for a little check up so isn't that something they will include in a service appointment if needed?

Can you scan the car for codes with the JB4 (either from dash or USB Cable) and post them up. Will help pinpoint the issue.

Seems like the more I search and the feedback from you guys everyone is agreeing that it is most likely the spark plugs. Will try to read codes tonight. Thanks everyone

Misfires will happen more often when you are tuned. Both times I've had misfires were when I was running a tune but whenever I go back to stock I can never replicate it

I always suggest changing all 6 spark plugs when going from stock to tuned car.
Jb4 will expose the weak components in your car which sounds in this case to be the spark plugs.
