normal boost ??

Hey guys

So I recently installed a FMIC and decided to check if I had a boost leak etc. So on the jb4
I turned my gas gauge into a boost guage and at wot on tune 5 with 94 gas the guage goes up to 3/4 and does not go to full.

Is this about normal ? Should the boost be going all they way to full?

The car runs fine no CEL pulls hard

Thanks for the help

Each quarter tank is 5 psi, so you're boosting 15 psi which is normal.

My car is at 15-16psi on 93 octane, when I ran a 40% E85 blend I was getting 18-19psi.

That must have felt great , was your gas mileage affected after you ran the E85? I keep hearing that once you run it you will never get the same gas milage as you did before

Good question and I would like to know as well
About how long does it take for the car to increase boost when you added the blend? Like 1 trip to work and back? or multi days worth of driving
Thanks

From what I understand is you have to do 3x 3rd gear pulls for the car to adapt to the new gas blend. I think it will last as long as you have that blend in your car.

My gas mileage did suffer a little bit. But I also drove the car a lot harder.

I come from a Hemi GC that got 9mpg, so even 14mpg sounds like a Prius to me.
