2008 M3 - USD 24 k

So this 2008 M3 has been for sale for almost 1 year now, and I still haven't been there to check it out. I wonder what's wrong with it. It's listed for USD 24 k:

I wonder what repairs have to be done... Sounds like a good deal.

In retrospect, I passed on a 2008 Red E93 M3 that had much lower mileage (16, instead of 70 this one has), and was being sold for 32 if I recall correctly...

Paint looks rough in the picture, it has high mileage (for an M3), they're not providing a safety for it which is means it could need anything and they don't offer any warranty. Essentially you're taking a gable and it could go either way.

Definitely wasn't washed or maintained on the exterior properly, at least not for awhile. If you can see swirls that bad from a bad quality picture, imagine it in person. But that's fixable.

The whole *As traded* status is sketchy.

Not to mention what already is listed for repairs (they mention they have a list of things)... Too high of a gamble.

I'll go with this one instead:

They have a bunch of cars marked "as traded", and they say they are worthy for the DIYer. I think they get horrible cars to sell other horrible cars, and then it costs too much to fix (more than they could ever recoup by selling in a fair price).

The problem with DIYing an M3 is that things quickly add up... Especially if there's something wrong with the Engine, then you're screwed with a capital Fucked.

For 270k I'll buy a Ferrari or a Lambo. That or a whole House.
