Things may be different over there but in the US there are cupholders in the center armrest that fold down between the rear seats. It is at the top/front. Just press in and out they slide. The reason the e93's have them in the center console is that the e93 does not have rear folding seats and has a passhtrough in that area instead.

Anything is definitely possible, but basically I'm gonna say NO

I have done the conversion in my E92 to add the E93 style split console cupholder, have seen the cutouts needed, and if you didn't have the correct console to see how to cut the holes you would never get them right.

Even then it would be difficult and they would need to be located precisely, there's no room to be off.

I did the conversion even though I have the rear seat center armrest cupholders because they are hard to access from front seat, I'd rather use the console cupholder than the crappy dash one's

Actually, I have a spare correct E93 console and the split cupholder if you're interested, just PM me

hi appreciate your advice. id be interested in the console but the shipping cost would not make it viable also my car is cream beige. im thinking o maybe make a cardboard template of the underside of the cupholder baseplate them transfer to the console.. do you have a pic of the holes needed by any chance. thanks again.
