Lowering springs on e93 vs e92
First off, I have a 2007 e93 325i, fairly standard at the moment, I have some body bits I am fitting and have fitted 20mm spacers on the back and 15's on the front on 19's.
I can't find any one addressing the issue I have. Everyone bangs on about the extra weight of the folding roof over the e92 and their completely correct. It is most evident when the roof is folded down, the rear of my car looks slammed, however when it's up it looks like a monster truck. I want to buy some lowering springs but there are many that say they fit the coupe and convertible but surely the e93 springs have to be a lot stiffer or when the roof is folded you wouldn't be able to see the top half of your wheel Any advice from anyone who owns one and what springs they used would be real helpful |

I'm sure you have a 328 and not 325 since bmw doesn't make 325 in 2007. I have e93 335 with sports package. The springs on them are pretty decent and shows only a tiny gap in the wheel well. For context, I have my other 2 cars lowered with no gaps but the stock ones on this car don't look bad at all. I know what you mean with non sports springs, I hate the look of having a fist size gap in the wheel wells. So take a look at the springs from the sports package e93 and see how you like them.

Hmm I've never heard of the e93 325 either but google tells me they did exist in 07.
I'm lowered on H&R sport springs and never noticed a big difference when the roof is up or down.

Yea I'm in the UK, I think it's the same as your 328xi? It's a 3.0 325i. It's the se model, ie not a sport suspension so pretty squidgy.
If you guys havnt had a problem then maybe il give them a go, it may just be that the soft suspension is ALOT softer than the m sport one. Cheers |

But make sure you get the one's for the E93. It's NOT the same as E92. |
