Hard question??
Ok guys regards and thanks for read my post….I having a problem with a 2009 e90 that I buy for my wife….4 grand in an auction…but the problem is…wont turn on….Heres some points…
1.-I have INPA and its showing 2A9A camshaft sensor inlet signal. no more codes 2.- I repalces both camshafts and still same code. 3.- I saw in other forums that the same code could be for cam solenoids also. 4.- Cams solenoids replaced. 5.- Crank sensor replaced. 6.- Something weird but I disconnect the coils and INPA wont detect that. 7.- Car was on a crash, so its there a sensor somewhere interfering? 8.- Car its a 2009 328i DOP 02/09 9.- theres no sensor on the battery to check it. 10.- A friend of mine have a chepa scanner that says a code that has to be with the canister back in the car. 11.- all fuses checked and working and all relay also 12.- Coils have signal from the harness Any ideas guys? Thanks for your help and have a nice ride. |

Most fuel injected cars have an emergency shutoff of the fuel pump when the car has been in an accident. I can't help with a fix though, as older, early-generation cars had a reset switch somewhere in the vehicle, but with BMWs (even after almost 30 years of ownership) I don't know the procedure for resetting the fuel pump.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
