Acceleration issues

this morning while on the parkway i accelerated pretty hard don't remember how high on rpm i went but when i let up the check engine light came on and the car began to vibrate. isn't the first time i noticed the struggle when accelerating. had the car about 7 months now im at around 64k miles. went to a shop in queens couple weeks ago & told me it may be spark plugs or the coils. anybody can provide some further info on this?

Go to Autozone or somewhere and have your codes read, I'm willing to bet you're most likely gonna have a P030x code (x = the faulty cylinder) and it's most likely gonna be a coil/spark plug.. I just went through this same exact thing a few weeks ago and it ended up being a bad coil, $50 later with a lifetime warranty I was driving around with no issues..!

good luck!

Might be a cylinder misfire, happened to me at a red light after some hard driving. Turned the car off and on and it stopped. Dealer read the codes and It was a misfire, so new spark plugs were put in.
