335i 6MT slow first gear?

1st gear in the 335i feels kind of slow. Almost like it's making less torque than it should. Once I get to 2nd+ is when I really start to get pushed into my seat but in first it's kind of meh. Could I have boost leak? How can I tell?

How much are you asking of 1st for DD? If you're concerned, get a log.

Do you have the 1st gear boost limiter on? What's your map/peak boost in 1st?

This is on a stock car. I'm probably just imagining things.

Have you tried with DSC & DTC off?

If the car senses traction loss, you'll have throttle closure, etc.

Worth a shot. It might not come on, but the car sees WOT at a low rolling speed in 1st gear, might assume it's slip without showing a light.

My car, when it was bone stock, pulled much harder with the DTC button pressed and held for 5 seconds.
