E90 Pre-LCI Xenon Bulb Replacements
Hi,
I have a 2007 335i with what I believe to be the original Xenon bulbs. I bought it used in 2009 and have not replaced either one. A few days ago one of them started turning pink, and has gotten a bit dim, so I'm assuming this means it's time for a replacement. Searched around but couldn't find a consensus, and quite honestly all the new lighting tech confuses me, I don't really keep up. My angel eyes were replaced with MTEC V.4s when one of those bulbs went out, so I'm looking for a simple replacement that might match the color decently. What are people using? Is the replacement an easy DIY? Thanks! |

I'm using Morimoto XB D1S 5500K. They're comparable to the Osram CBI in terms of output at a fraction of the price.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Is there a preferred vendor for them or does it really matter? I ordered my AEs from e92-lighting and they seemed fine.
