About to hit 50k miles. Question

What should I do now? Is there a service due soon? I'm planning on getting the extended warranty though a 3rd party, for what I found out is just like the warranty of a new car, just without the oil change. But what should I expect?

Pretty sure your extended warranty wont cover any 50k maintenance..

But you need new spark plugs for sure and walnut blasting is more optional I believe if you are having problems.

Cabin filter and air filter if you have not done it.

Honestly you should just do it all your self. The cabin filter comes out when you do the spark plugs anways. Spark plugs are super easy and take about an hour or less.

when my warranty/maint deal was about to expire my dealer was agreeable to look over the car and take care of anything they found. This saved me alot of money, they found brakes, leaking oil housing gasket and tensioner/pulley. All replaced for the $50 deductible.

I would change spark plugs and do a walnut blast at 50k

Yeah I did tried taking the car to the dealer for a last inspection and all they said was that I didn't need any service, I'll call them tomorrow and ask them because I'm like 30 miles away lol, spark plugs and filters I might just do them myself! I can always YouTube that 😁😁 and save me some money.

I'm just worry about major damage

More or less, check out the following items thoroughly, as they're covered under the bumper-to-bumper warranty:

- peeling interior, especially around door panel/handles, steering wheel, instrument/center console, etc.
- wiper blades (say they're streaking; varies if you had it done recent as they usually allow one replacement per year)
- oil filter housing gasket has a tendency to leak around 50k-65k
- mechantronic sleeve/transmission leak at approximately 50k-65k as well
- check out front bushings for leaks/worn
- windshield reveal trim (around the front windshield) -- over time, it dryrots and breaks apart

spark plugs, walnut blast, and filters. check for any leaks like the oil filter housing gasket and check for worn bushings. all work is pretty simple and there are write ups on this forum.

I'm on the phone with them, just giving them all this list lol so they can fix them before I hit the 50k

They just told me there is a service due at 50k but is not covered under the warranty

So I'm guessing I don't have that coverage for peeling interior
