Hello All,

I'm having a little trouble with my wife's 2006 E90 328 air conditioning. The passenger far right vent is blowing cold air, but the rest of the vents are blowing ambient air... Any suggestions as to what the challenge may be? Something blocking the vent or just a simple re-charge of the system?

get the pressure checked in the system. You probably have a leak. Most common leaks are at the schrader valves.

Thank you for the response. We're going to take the car to my local indy. They thought the system just needed a recharge. We'll see what the outcome is.

I had exactly the same. Recharged it myself with the over the counter cans, but afterwards was a bit concerned in case I overfilled it (I later read the system is quite a small capacity on our cars). But I haven't noticed any ill effects such as the fan working extra hard, and the AC is nice and cold now (which is a relief as it was 37C/100F here last week).
