She's getting perfect.

I picked up my 2nd BMW (1st was E87 120i AT) in early 2013 and it was a E84 X1 base with 6MT. Obviously, i'm crazy about owning a manual BMW. However, you have to sacrifice a lot to get a manual because it's equipped with almost nothing but just BMW.

It's been 2 years and i have done a lot of retrofits for my car. I'm enjoying driving it very much now.

Hope this post can help those who want to better improve the cars and i'm more than pleased to answer all your questions.

The first two pictures were taken the day i picked her up. Halogen headlights, no cic, non-sport steering wheel...

From the third pictures are the retrofits have been done so far. Here they are:

1. Cruise control.
2. Lumbar support.
3. Haman althorn. (originally empty)
4. one-click button for the trunk.
5. LED bi-xenon headlights.
6. rear camera, to have this you need to get the i-drive first.
7. M-tech sterring wheel, M-tech shifting knob.

Thanks for the interests.
I don't know what specific information you need about these retrofits and i just simply described how to have them done.
1. Cruise control.
You need to replace the cruise mast. Pic attached. After coding it will work properly. I have to say it's a MUST-TO-HAVE retrofit and you get what you paid for so long as you drive in high way once.
2. Lumbar support. Here's the what you need to get in the pic attached. You have to do some wiring work before it works. Honestly, it's not as good as i expected and i guess it's mostly because of the cloth seats.
3. Trunk button. Bought the kit from the taobao.com and it is very easy to install. The only one i did by myself. Btw, if you have the automatic trunk gate (not the OEM) this would be good one to have.

See attached pic. You have to add the code $544. Hope this helps.

I keep seeing posts about the automated hatch but no one seems to want to post pictures of the install.

Hi, your e-trunk gate is awesome. Maybe someday i will get one...

Anyways, i don't know how to decode, sorry. But i was told it can be done.

You know taobao well and i guess you may find lots of dealer of led xenon headlights. Check with them.

Sorry guys. I haven't checked for a while.
Anyways, the rear camera is made by some Chinese entity and i just got one picture and pls see attached. The model no is RV-1305E. I'm not sure if you can get it from ebay.
It needs recoding as well after installation. The only difference is the look of the rear camera. Otherwise everything is functioned as BMW original. The cost is less than 300$. Good deal i think.
