For you who have either retrofitted this or had it from day one...is it only useful for the iPhone? Every review seems to say if you have an android it is useless due to limited functionality. Thoughts?

Yes, it was designed to only function with iPhone. The Apps functions would be useless with anything else.

I love it. I listen to Pandora or tune in or web radio everyday. Makes a Sirius tuner pointless!
