New headlight lenses
Do any of you know if it's possible to order just the front headlight covers? Mine are getting pretty raggedy looking and I'd really like to replace just the lens covers if possible.

I can tell you that they don't sell E92 headlight lenses separately anywhere. I'd assume it's the same with the E90. Take them to a detailer and have him do a restoration.

wow. replacement lenses makes it easier for those who want to customize their headlights. just be careful with the housing and put on new lenses when done.

That's what I was thinking about doing if I can't find any lenses

you cannot by lenses, if they are for sale its only for e92 and probably came out a damaged headlight. Everything else is permanently sealed. I use a guy locally that wetsands the lights at 1000 grit sandpaper and 3000 girt and clear coats them after for 100$.

I'd be careful trying to replace just the lense. I had my headlights replaced by insurance due to damage. They put in replacement parts (not oem). I had no idea off course and within 1.5yrs, my lights are burning a hold from the inside out. You can see stress fractures where the beam hits the lenses. Unless they are oem, be careful

I did one of the infomercial headlight treatments on my 2008 e92, and it worked amazing.
Make sure to get one with a sealer element to it. That second step is critical to keeping them from refogging up again. They come with a coating from the factory, and replacing that is key. |
