Car is not boosting at all..please help
My car is currently not boosting at all. Stuck at 0 psi. I have jb4 with g4 board. I just had a few oil leaks fixed and an intercooler installed. My mechanic checked for anything that could be wrong in the engine such as intercooler piping being loose or vacuum lines etc and everything is working fine but still no boost. I installed the bms usb cable yesterday and just did a log but need help. I'll attach it on here

You had a intercooler installed and other work done. Its a boost leak or they messed up the vac lines to the solenoids . Or the bov or diverter valves are fubar. Id take it back and complain. All you can do. Based on what was done id say something wasn't reinstalled right

Either you have something disconnected really badly like an intercooler coupler or your wastegates have stopped working because
A) your vac lines are unplugged from the actuators or both have a significant leak B) your solenoids are failed closed both for some reason (maybe an electrical short or maybe they are just failed) C) vac isn't getting to the solenoids for some reason (pinched hose or disconnected hose somewhere or vac leak) D) there is some sort of mechanical WG failure like rods disconnected (failed e clip) or diaphragm tore inside actuators or flapper itself broken E) the turbine fins are broken off The list goes from most probable, to very rare Can you hear spool going on even though no boost? |

99.9% sure its a boost leak. Make sure you take off the undershield and thoroughly check every connection and retighten them. If that doesn't work replace all the vacuum hoses. The hoses are known to crack when they get old.

Be sure to thoroughly check the charge pipe clamps. I had one that was cracked on the end where the tbolt mounts and visually it looked fine. Under boost it would open up.

There is something wrong either with the log or something else. I don't think there is a way you can have ZERO boost at WOT and no codes. Something is not adding up here. Also to add... The G4 board is very obsolete you should upgrade it to the G5 board. But it could be anything from a boost leak to an installation issue to a wastegate vacuum line issue.
