10mm rear spacers - who's running them?
What brand are you guys using? I've been doing reading on the issue with the E9X's rear wheel's hub lip protruding too far into the back of the 10mm spacers, causing seating issues.
I know on my E46 I had the same problem and it was very dangerous - I ended up using Eibach 10mm rear spacers and they worked perfectly fine whereas the RE ones wobbled. What brand 10mm spacers are you guys using, and what wheels are they pushing out? Hoping to find answers from someone with a 2009 E92 + 10mm rear spacers + BBS wheels... Also, does having a stud conversion make any difference to ease of seating 10mm rears? |

I m running a 100mm ECS spacer with APEX wheels and a stud kit.
Stud kit doesn't matter about how it sits and with the ECS spacer it fit perfect. No issues here. |

if you can, just get the 12.5mm TMS spacers from turner and not deal with the issue.

^ H&R. I think 10mm seating issues are rare with OEM wheels, particularly with H&R. I run rear only, I had 12mm front but I haven't found a spacer yet that doesn't cause steering vibration, however slight it may be.

Besides RE spacers in 10mm for the rear, which others have given a wobble or had issues?

So it turns out my BBS LM-Rs would NOT work with ECS Tuning 10mm spacers because of their straight raised edge before the chamfer begins. Macht Schnel Spacers worked without a hitch as their entire hubcentering ring lip is chamfered down to the face of the spacer.

Type 71 Wheels 18s on E91 - What wheel spacers?
HI Guys,
I recently changed into these rare Type 71 split wheels (used on the E46 330ci Clubsport...) which I think suit well.. I am not sure however what wheel spacers to use on the front and rear. I am thinking of going 5mm on fronts and 12mm on back, or even 15mm. The car has the factory option Msport suspension so it does sit a biit lower. Some E90 onwers think that it is a bad idea to add wheel spacers to the front. Any thoughts please? Thanks! |
