SoCal Dealers

I'm starting my research into an M4 and wanted to see if anyone has any good dealers they recommend? Looking to make a purchase within the next 3-4 months. Thanks for your help in advance.

I am curious, and this is a serious question, but did ST BMW pay some of you guys off or something? If you look through the forums, while they do have good service, the prices that they quote are much worse than other dealers with just as good services. People were quoted ED MSRP on M3/M4 while other dealers are doing $1,500-2,000 above invoice. Nowadays people are able to get $1,000 above invoice. With that, it makes me curious why you guys recommend ST BMW...

I personally found it a bit insulting to be recommended to ST BMW only to be quotes MSRP. I mean, really? It's not like we are buying Ferrari's here...

Sometimes it doesn't only come down to price to the cent. Customer service has a lot to do with one referring a dealership to someone.

I get that. Don't get me wrong, if someone is willing to pay MSRP for better service then more power to them. I think most people are trying to find good deals with good service (not great, but good). I think there are plenty of dealers out there that offer both good prices and great service too. When people are able to do PCD at Thermal Raceway, they can buy from any dealer in the country and have their cars shipped to Socal. At that point, price will be the driving factor (and there are plenty of dealers giving out fantastic deals).

I have noticed you post a lot about us. I apologize if you feel as though you were mistreated in anyway when you interacted with our sales staff. If there is anything I personally can do to change the outlook you have on us please let me know. Pricing changes all the time. What we quote one person can change for the next based on a variety of variables as I'm sure you can understand. I like to think that people recommend us bc we are not only a long time supporter of this forum but we also assist a lot with questions and answers for everyone on the forum. Yes there are times on certain models we are not the best price available but we do always try to make sure we offer the best possible customer service possible. At the end of the day sometimes that is more important then price. Either way you are allowed to have your opinion and I can respect that. Happy motoring

I understand and I meant no disrespect to you or ST BMW. It's just that I was curious, that's all. If you look through the pricing thread you'll see that I wasn't the only one that mentioned about MSRP being quoted. I was really curious because in this day and age, it's often about price. If a dealer is recommended even when quoting MSRP (or at least did), then perhaps there is something more than meets the eye. Either way, I will give you guys a try again in the future should I decide to get another BMW. I want to experience what all the fuss is about in regards to customer service.

I don't think we have been at MSRP for a while now. We were doing MSRP when most around our area were charging over MSRP or not offering ED at all. We usually are the lowest in our area by far. However sometimes on certain models we only get 1-2 a month so its harder for us to sell them super cheap if that makes sense. We always and have always put forum members first and always try to give them the best prices as possible. Pricing is all dependent on allocations for us if that makes sense.

also don't always believe everything you see on the internet especially deals people post. Some are legit yes however some are pretty hard to believe IMO. If a dealer is only getting 1 allocation per month for that unit why would they sell it at a lost when the demand for the unit is high? Doesn't really make sense. dealer is making money somewhere in those deals one would have to believe. Money off MSRP is just a small small part of the overall deal

Either way we at STBMW would love to have you as part of our family(customer) so feel free to contact me personally anytime on anything you need and I will get you set up

I've email exchanged Khoi @ Long Beach BMW and he was a straight shooter. Pricing was competitive as well. No frills, no bs.
