Hello Folks, I'm new to BMWs

Hello,

I take delivery of my first BMW next Thursday.

E91, 320d M Sport, Le Mans Blue, BT & voice, heated seats, towbar, autodim mirror & rain sensor.

I can't wait. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Are there any meets planned for around Surrey anytime soon?

Carlos
Hi Carlos, Nice idea, but I already have plans for the 10th. Mostly in the car, thank God, but running around seeing family.

I'd really like to see what this can do too. Maybe next time. ;o)

Hi Tim and welcome, nice choices you've made there

Calvin, you've got to be quick out of the blocks to beat Carlos - he has built in radar, just not sure whereabouts on his body it's located.

Hi Tim, welcome to a truely legendary forum

As well as exchanging insults, taking the piss out of other cars, this is great place for bmw fans.

Best of luck with the new motor, its an incredible feeling to pick up a brand new car

What else is it then Carlos? A way of life, a life changing decision, an inanimate object with a soul?

Thanks for all your welcomes

Only 6 days to go now.

I have to admit it's a company wagon, but I have free run of what I choose.
I have a Mazda 6 d Sport right now and it's been a real nightmare. I got a Friday afternoon, Christmas Eve lemon.

So I had a short list of;
Ford Mondeo
Skoda Octavia
Volvo V50
BMW 3 series

I guess you all know what I chose. The experience of test driving them was amazing. I'll post about that if anyone is interested.

shame on your Mazda6... they are fantastic cars if you get a "normal" one.. I had an MPS and it was excellent, only sold it due to mileage and cost of running.

The new one is good, but get a 3series as no doubt the 6 will have teething issues, as with all new cars... much like the new 3series engines and dynamic stuff has had.

All the best with the purchase.
