Spend a little more than the "cheap" brands and get a quality set. If you have an E92 you have a whole lot of options.

You may want to consider the HPB 160 Watt Total output (80W V2). We've sold 100's problem free.

Edit- Just realized you have halogen so you'd need the E90 LCI Angel eyes from HPB 80W Total Output.

Also just remember that the H8 bulbs styles will not work with your car since you have halogen headlights. There are a lot more options out there for the H8 ones

The LCI angel eyes are very cheaply made which barely reflect any light. Even if you get a very high output LED bulb, the chances are you cannot see them in direct sunlight. But in slight cloud cast, they are very neatly visible. So be warned about this trait.

And definitely go with good quality ones as it is a pain in the back to replace them if one of the bulb blows out. You might save a few bucks with cheap bulbs but then more trouble to replace them.

Also you are probably already aware that you can code the angel eyes to be your DRL using the BMWhat app and an ELM32 wifi module. You can also change the brightness there. Or if you are a coding expert, you can do that method too. No need for any harness to enable your angel eyes are DRL.

Halogen headlights Angel Eyes are always at full power, or am i wrong? i'm 99% sure only the Xenon headlights dim the angel eyes when they are used for the DRL's.

Well I see brightness control when I go through the BMWhat app. So I am not sure if changing that value does that anything at all. Even at full brightness, with the stock angel eyes, I am barely seeing the light during day time.

Stock angel eyes are not too bright though. For instance the HPB LED angel eyes we sell can be seen in the day time and more vivid then stock.

The lights are better seen from a distance of about 30 feet and level with the headlight.

Well to be honest, those will look better then any plug and play system but you are paying for either your own time plus cost of parts there or if you pay someone to do the work you are looking at well over $500-$1000, depending.

These plug and play system can be had for sub $100. They are a significant improvement over stock but can't be compared to custom retro-fit rings.

Anyone know if the DTEC v9.5 LED driver module touching the metal heat sink on the bulb causes any problems? Installed these in my LCI E90 yesterday and the only way to fit everything in the housing and put the cover back on was to shove it in all together with wires as well as the driver in contact with the heat sink.

please point our driver modules away from anything that can conduct heat, heat is the ultimate killer for any electronics, in addition to shortening the lifespan
