I think I finally found the perfect 330 for me and my budget

Good deal? Doesn't have I-drive but its okay. I really can't find anything around my area for this price so I am thinking about flying to go pick this one up.

9k for that mileage seems high. When my uncle and I were hunting for his, we found several under 100k miles for less than 11. He ended up buying one for 11.2 with 70k with premium and brown interior. 3 weeks later I found one fully loaded (every single possible option) with 86k for 10.2k, and that was a year ago. That's florida, where bimmers are abundant, but if you're willing to fly...

For the price, I don't think you'll find a classier, better looking vehicle IMHO. Mileage is a little high but I'm also closing in on 140k w/ my 335i and have zero qualms about driving it anywhere. It is important to note that the much quicker and mod-friendly 335's with higher mileage are just slightly more than this now a days as well.

Looks nice, but I'd be a little concerned since it appears to have changed ownership several times recently. Search on the VIN and you'll see it was sold in Wisconsin with 115K miles (asking price was $13.9K) and 13K miles later it was for sale at Exeter Subaru in New Hampshire. It appears they couldn't sell it and it ended up 150 miles south at International Motor Cars in Connecticut with 40 more miles on the odometer. I would call and ask a lot more questions before flying out to see it and I would also insist on a CarFax / AutoCheck report.

Love when I see high mileage NA E90s. I'm at 57,000. Have a long way to go.

Considering price difference and maintenance cost, though, I think a 330i with the ESS supercharger or AA mods down the road would be a good alternative. Torque is fun but it's hard to beat such a reliable motor with such low rotating mass and immediate response screaming to 7k! There's a relatively untouched N52 on here getting close to 300k miles, but my current car is all torque (and the grass is always greener).

Or is this a better deal? Looks clean and has very low mileage. But it just seems so boring..no I-DRIVE, no HIDs. just a plain jane 328 and the silver color is just too simple for my taste as well.

Seems very expensive. Mileage is low but it doesn't have any options. There are definitely better deals out there.

Buying a used BMW is always tough. You can get a car from some knucklehead that took it to Jiffy Lube for maintenance once it was past the 4-year maintenance period, which f's up a BMW more than just letting it sit. But finding a 330 with a manual transmission is a hard find. That car doesn't have a sport package so, that's a bit disappointing. And I'd be concerned with that level of brake rotor rust, it seems a bit excessive, and might have pitted the disk surfaces enough to warrant replacement.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

FYI for those looking to buy any car, you can get a free auto check on any VIN if you use google...

You are correct. I didn't notice the sport seats in the OP's original post the first time I looked. I didn't look at the second nor comment on it. My comment on the first car was more concerned with the maintenance of the car and the condition of the brake rotors anyway.

do not go for any 328 when 330 exists
difference in power is very noticable and later you will blame yourself for going 328, if you will
