Uneven lighting on LCI tail lights
I just installed LCI tail lights onto my E92 and noticed that the illuminated red stripes on the tail lights on the trunk lid seem kind of uneven. Like there's dust in the light housing or something creating uneven lightning/shadow. The red stripes on both outside tail lights look perfect though. I noticed on an LCI E92 driving by me this morning that the red stripe on the trunk pieces looked like mine so I assume its just a flaw in the way the light is spread inside the housing but wanted to ask around and make sure.

Both outside lights have consistent even lighting from end to end of the "light strip"
You can see a few dark splotches which appear on both the left and right trunk light strips Is it a design flaw? Since I did see this same uneven lighting in the light strips of another car the other day. Just curious before I pop off the trunk liner and blow around to check for dust on the lens or something. Are these OEM parts or those replica aftermarket?
It looks like a design flaw to me, honestly - but then again, I can barely tie my own shoes.

Glad its not just me, I'll look at it again from angles next time I'm in the parking garage. Just strange the lighting is so even on the outer strips but doesn't look the same on the inner strips.

If you look from other angles you will also see that the outers can be dimmed also.
