Irvine BMW - Mod Friendly Service Advisor

Does anyone have a contact which SA to speak to for scheduled service that's mod friendly? My SA at Sterling BMW is no longer there. Thanks in advance.

Was the car pulling to the right prior to installing the springs?

Yes. I made that very clear. Even showed them the corresponding thread on F80post.

BMW seems to not want to touch the car if it has ANYTHING modified. Honestly I'm supremely disappointed as I had such excellent service with my E46.

Question... Have you had the vehicle suspension re-aligned after lowering it? Also how many miles did the vehicle have when the dealership checked the alignment?

Negative. No alignment after lowering, but the vehicle pulls the same as it did prior to the suspension.

Also, the vehicle went in with the concern originally at 1100 miles.

They just straight up said they refused to touch the car. Foreman was

Do yourself a favor; never mention that you read something or posted something on the forums. That just simply pisses people off around you at the dealership.

If you have issues come forward with them and straightforward. Don't come at your SA with this sideways shit trying to get stuff on your car covered due to someone else's incompetence.

IF you had come into the dealer when you were at stock height and UNDER 1,000 miles the alignment to correct your pulling would have been done for free; no questions asked. But you coming in post 1000 miles AND with lowered suspension there's no doubt any sensible dealership would tell u to kick rocks.

PUMP THE BRAKES COWBOY

I mentioned PRIOR to bringing my car in that there were springs installed, and my adviser stated that as long as the issue was present before the installation that they would take a look at everything to make sure there were no unusual issues with the car. Im not knocking my adviser as he was not only cool, but he went to bat for to me still try and get the issue resolved TWICE with them on the car.

Springs went onto my car at 200 miles and you're right, I probably should have addressed the issue prior, but it would have made no difference as I would have had to get the alignment re-done to compensate for the drop.

I never asked for a free alignment, as I was ready to pay for it. They simply refused to touch the car even if I paid. I printed off a screenshot copy of an alignment spec / warranted parts list that another member had posted in hopes of showing them a solution that worked incase there were others that were coming in for the same issue. They will re-align the car under 2,000 miles at no cost.

Next time you decide to come off as a hot shot be sure to have your story straight

Odd... Even if the vehicle had below 1100-1200 miles, the dealership can warranty an alignment(if the staff was cool that is).

Don't you work for a dealership? That's no way to behave on a publicly accessed website/forum...

-EDIT-

Looks like you're a New Century technician or writer, based on your last few posts in other threads...

The staff was nothing short of excellent. The foreman just wanted nothing to do with my car as long as the springs we installed. I expected that, and was ready to pay for the alignment but was a little surprised that they wouldn't take my $$.

Oh well

You can bring it here if you'd like, we just aligned our BMW factory rep's M4 and he's riding on H&R sport springs.

Honestly, McKenna has been am amazing service dealership. I can't believe the work they were doing to service a highly modified lime green E92 monster. I wouldn't expect them to warranty it, but the team over there is pretty good to work with. Hell they even fixed most of my rattles without batting an eye.
