Angry Just cleaned my car....bloody pigeons!

Spent most of Sunday detailing my car and giving it a good clean inside and out (first one of 2008!). I came out of the house this morning to this greeting from our feathered friends

Looks like the "Pigeon Season" has opened early !

Pigeons 1 - 0 E91

I might have to open up the scores a bit at the weekend

Yeah, bloody shitehawks are the worst by far - major splatter!

How long did it take to detail the car BTW and was the hard work worth the end results? Looks good apart from the pidgeon poo!

Pics are with my camera phone, so don't do it justice. It took me about 7.5hrs It was looking good until I did 100 mile round trip yesterday. Now it just looks like it did before I started. God! I hate this time of year! roll on summer Think I'll leave it another month before I bother again - so no it wasn't worth it

Hehe.

I spent longer than that detailing over the weekend. Washed mine on Saturday, then on Sunday fully detailed my Sister's 1, re-washed and detailed mine, then detailed my Dad's Focus.

So today, whilst the dealer had the car to replace a runflat they washed it as well. I'll never understand them. It was pristine before they started so why bother?

I even tried claying for the first time as my Sister's car was so filthy.

I still ache though.

I have a strict policy of having to be insured on and have use of the vehicle before it gets this sort of attention.

And no doubt they've done a bad job. A quick bucket over and a nice gritty chamois to leather it off

To be fair they do a pretty good job, it's basically a pressure wash and then they put it through an automated car wash, but they only use the drier section to blow dry the car.
