I'm sure from the last thread on this most of those cars dont have an engine fitted so just the shell's are used.

Thought a similar thing, but also as they could be xDrive M3 'mules' that the stunt drivers couldn't get on with

Not sure you be able to get an Xdrive M3 on a transporter tbh.

Would be quite hard to do and take fair amount of time...
