Neater Mounting for mt Dash Cam
I finally got to make a little carbon wedge as a neater mounting for my Mobius dash cam. Pictures of original sucker mount, a trial plastic one and finally the new carbon version.

The mobius has always appealed to me, and if I do get one I'll rig up something like this. Looks very neat, good job.
The four circles stuck(?) to the cam look like they locate in the drilled underside. So how is it defying gravity? If they are neodymium magnets and there's a metal plate inside the mount then hat's off for your design & engineering prowess!

They are indeed little magnets. Not so much engineering prowess as a suitabley sized drill to countersink 4 magnets in to the carbon plate. So the 8 magnets in total hold the camera rock steady whilst allowing me to remove it for updating etc.

That looks great. When I mounted my Mobius that high up the screen I found that the casing around the sensors obscured the view a lot to the right hand side, so I had to mount it lower down, roughly where yours is in the first few pictures. Do you find this in the higher spot?

With the price of the excellent little Mobius down below £50 now, I decided to add one to the back.
