New grilles fitted...

Meant to post here but accidentally posted in the general forum (seems more banter in the UK forum )

So after a quick search on Google I found that you can remove the grilles without the need for removing the screws and rubber seal under the bonnet!!

Took all of ten mins; slip hand through gaps in grille, release the tabs using finger whilst using the other hand to pull/keep pressure on the grille...remove one the. Get hand in behind the other one. Snap new grilles back in...job done, stand back and admire

*Disclaimer: I'm not trying to look like an M3 or any other higher powered Beemer!! I just like the lok of the M3 style slats

Nice
Yes the advantage of doing this method to remove and change the grilles are if you remove the screws to loosen the bumper then you will have to realign the bumper gap using the markers

Looks good, those personalised plates must have cost a fortune though!

Very nice and aggressive. Have seen some with chrome surrounds.

What's the quality like.

They gloss or matte.

The quality is similar to OEM as far as I can tell

Gloss black, just hope they'll go ok with the matte finish on the splitter!!
