BMW Welt and factory tour

Anybody done or doing this?

I'm planning on going in a few months with a side trip via (second trip) to Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and potential factory tour if enough notice given.

BMW Welt and the museum are well worth a visit. The motorsport cars are a must see.

Exactly! It's a pity that UK buyers can't do European Delivery, that's a proper delivery experience!

Yeah I asked and it's verboten.

Would be great, however I cringe at Mr & Mrs Suburbia, flying out (or Eurostar etc) and having their first time drive back on continent in a new 328i salon.

They wouldn't do it as CBA - it's for us.

Did this in 2011 so it's probably changed a bit since then but it's really worth the trip. Did the Museum, Factory Tour (Production line was off limits at the time for the change over to the F30) and the Welt. Munich is a beautiful place and the Olympic park is next to the factory so you can go round the grounds to that too!
