VIN Tracking

Morning all,

Please don't shoot me NISFAN, I've searched the forums and it just comes up with searches for BMWUSA or using your car on a track!

Is there a way now to track the shipment from Germany of the new car? Riaz has just told me it's due in at the end of next week which is bang on time but some how the thought of watching it sail across the water will make the time go quicker!

Cheers

Would like to know too.
Dealer is updating me, but would satisfy my impatience if I could check online too

To be honest, I would of thought a system would of been in place for us to track our cars from bremerhaven

We are laggin behind USA.

Garage List
There is no way of tracking a UK order from the factory to the dealer like the US can. It's a dealer only thing here.

I have been doing a bit of research into transportation and I have noticed on the link below

http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/...me:SOUTHAMPTON

There are two ships arriving from PORT of BREMERHAVEN
Into Southampton, one is due now and one eta in Southampton on 15th march.. I can only guess our some of our cars are on these ships.

A few Manfactures ship from Bremerhaven, I belive BMW use wallenius wilhelmsen company. Here a link to the web cam at the auto port in Bremerhaven http://www.blg-logistics.com/de/kontakt/webcams/ . In shot ( or you could when I posted this) you can see the Tarfia ship being loaded, assuming that is calling at Southampton your car could possibly be going on that ship, if you're lucky.

Unlikely, its on the one that drops off in the USA first before returning via Southampton.

Guys, 3 series don't land at Southampton they all land at Immingham which is close to the distribution centre at Thorne. The ships going into Southampton will probably be picking up Mini's, JLR & JCB/CAT as opposed to dropping off. At least Immingham is closer

I order a 4 series does the same still apply ?

I just want my car now I'm getting impatient, people at work keep asking me why I'm moody and I can only think it's because of the stress of waiting and constantly getting bad news about the flaming car
