New Arrival Soon
Hello all
I thought I'd post in the F30 forum because that's where I started (and it is clearly the best UK forum!) I started looking at getting a 3 Series over 2 years ago. However I decided I would wait until I qualified before getting a new car. But the 3 Series was always at the back of my mind. Then the 4 Series came out and I wanted one of those instead . A truly stunning looking car. That feeling lasted a while until I began to feel that it was a bit too big for me. Then the 2 Series came out. In terms of looks, I think the 4 Series shades the 2 Series but I like them both (which is the most important thing). But the size of the F22 is just perfect in my opinion. In short, I ordered a 228i and I received an email today to say it had arrived at the dealer . I'm currently waiting for some MP parts and deciding whether to have it detailed before pickup (any recommendations in London would be much appreciated) but I thought I'd share in anticipation! (I hope I remain welcome despite my non-F30 330d/335d ) |

Sun is out so took some more:
I ordered Brushed Aluminium with the black, gloss trim but the factory messed the order up and I ended up with hexagonal and EB trim. I can have it replaced FOC but risk removal damage etc or will receive some money instead. Frankly, I'm leaning towards taking the money as don't like the idea of removing the trim. |

Car looks great, IMO if you can get it changed FOC then I would definitely get the blue changed to gloss black as the blue just doesn't sit right with the oyster interior, I removed the dash trim in my last F30 and it wasn't to hard at all. Enjoy the new car
