My door was hit in a parking lot today. Thank god I was walking up to my car and saw it before he took off. I'm looking for the best place to get this fixed. Not any more south than Seattle. I'm located in Oak Harbor on Whidbey island.

I literally JUST picked up my car from Kent Collision Center (in Kent). Got an M3 rep front bumper sprayed and put on and it only took them a couple days. Great work. I likely will go to them moving forward despite the distance from where I live.

I actually came to them by accident because I searched on the forums here and saw there was a Collision Specialists in Kent. When I yelp'd it, I ended up going to Kent Collision but I don't regret it at all.

What's even funnier is the final invoice came in about $125 less than the estimate.

I'll post pics of the work later this weekend when the weather is nicer.

Oh, sorry I didn't read that you didn't want to go further south than Seattle.

In that case, there's a place in Lake City that has great reviews and I would've gone there had they not been backloged.

I do daily work with many body shops (I do auto glass), there is a shop in Everett that I would recommend any day of the week. Quality work, and if by any chance something goes wrong (like can happen to ANYBODY working on a car) they stand behind their work 100% for life. I've seen them pull their hair out trying to make a person happy that is very obviously just a person trying to cause trouble or honestly mistaken in what they are saying.

I very rarely make recommendations on a public forum because I would never want to be attached to recommending a shop that does sub-par work or screws people over. I recommend Special Interest to anybody with out hesitation.

I do know of other good ones in other parts of Seattle/Eastside area, but Special Interest will take care of you and they are 15 minutes or so from the Mukilteo ferry dock on Evergreen Way if you take the boat over.

Tell them Travis from Factory Finish Auto Glass sent you! They're good people, you won't regret it.
