Insurance and job title

Just wondering if anyone has come across a site that can help to select job title.

Try this.

http://www.compdatasurveys.com/compe...ce-job-titles/

I have found you can save some cash with some creativity on job title.

While in forces, I was usually an Electronics Engineer.

Soon as I mentioned aircraft, military, my premium would increase.

I tried to avoid mentioning the words "SA80" and "Desert" in my applications as I found they had a detrimental effect on quotes

Lol my mates on EOD, luckily they get 'assistance' with insurance.

What gets me is how can they make you pay extra just because you do bomb disposal, it's likely someone else's car you will have 'issues' with, not your own.

Some job descriptions add like £50, never mind £300 for going to sandy places.

Aye it used to piss us off. Why would the fact someone is taking pot shots at us in the sandier/damper bits of the world make the slightest bit of difference to our cars parked in Ash Vale?? Yet apparently it did.

"Do you use you car for commuting or for work?" ... No not really we have, er, works vehicles.

"Where will your car be parked when at work?" ..At home.

"What's your place of work?" ...er, Ir......

"That will be many £££££ sir" ......

Tossers.

Yeah, I had with the car kept in garage, behind razor wire, armed patrols, Attack dogs, pissed up singles , anyone getting past that was welcome to it.

I once had to collect an insurance bloke from guardroom (left him 10 mins kicking his heels), he was checking my house windows met insurance guidelines...

We drove past at least 1 check point, 2 armed patrols and 8 police dogs on the piss and loads razor wire.

Did I get discount, yeah saved £20 on having right window locks, just in case someone decided to rob from my house......

Bunch of tea bagging muppets.

Was Ash Vale random or are you actually just down the road from me? Or are you in fact parking your car at the ranges?

But all you military types are aggressive thrill seekers!
Insurance companies know you're trouble!

Lol Nope. I was there in the late 80's. Spent some time on courses at Keogh Barracks when I was on attachment with 23rd PFA and then down the road at Browning Barracks wondering why I had to keep leaping out of perfectly good aeroplanes before they shipped us out to foreign climes

Lol some of them are mental

Met a few on Granby.

Never really understood the reason why people can't wait for aircraft to land before using the exit door.

Whats an "Average" Taliban? I wasn't aware they came in sizes

Besides here in Wales we peace loving sheep farmers are not trusting of goats and poppies. Although (making a tenuous link back to the OP) the insurance is pretty cheap.

Only because they modify their cars with after market crap...

Ridiculous.

Yeah but it's JLR, that's means it's someting like ...

Product Innovation Technical Trainee.

I don't think they employ engineers these days.

Admittedly, this week I was asked where I keep my 'hatchet' / 'scythe' lol.
