Just picked up M-SPORT Today what to do cosmetically? Help Please??

Folks FINALLY after 3 weeks of dealing with the dealership I finally have possession of my 2011 328I M-Sport Sedan.

It took them 3 weeks to make the necessary repairs/fixes I requested in order to buy the car. Ended up getting them to put on a brand new M-sport bumper(the original one was rashed) new tires, BMW service I, new sunroof etc.

When I picked the car up today, I immediately left the dealership and went straight to the Car Audio shop. Gave the stereo shop a deposit so they could build me a custom ported box for a Sundown SA-12

Now my good breatheren. Seeking advice on what to cosmetically upgrade on this car. It already has dark tint.

How should I spend the first $1,000 cosmetically?

I'm going to paint my calipers red sometime this week.

Congrats! Car is beautiful! Love the m-tech bumpers front and rear! Wish I have them on my car. Mine is very similar to yours even the same color, but it's a 2010 and its a MT with piano black interior trim. By the way, is the M steering wheel and special option? Looks sick!!

Personally, I would recommend against painting the calipers red, looks a bit "rice-y" although that is just my opinion. I would say black... know for any other cosmetics, how about some CF front splitters, CF performance spoiler as already mentioned, and maybe a CF rear diffuser? If not, i would look into retrofitting the headlights (full black out and LED rings) or something of the sort. All in all car looks great, congrats and happy modding!

Don't, I don't get why Americans are so dead set on mods but the car looks top notch it doesn't need anything! (may be a set of 18"or 19"rims)

I have a BSM car too and I plan to paint my brake calipers metallic gold this year. Basically same color as Koni FSD shocks (Google for it to see what I mean). I think it'll look very nice.

As the members above stated do gloss black kidney grills, get a matching color side marker, if you can save more get some 18" or 19" w/tires. These will change the look of the car.

Thanks sir!!

Yeah when I was searching online and saw the car listed.

Called the next morning and got the deal done in 2 hrs. Then had to wait 3wks for them do perform all the fixes necessary.

I respect the manual, and would have gotten this. But I live in Atlanta stop and go traffic is horrid. This car is a commuter. My toy car Miata is a manual...lol.

But I do have the F1 paddles on the M-sport

For some interior mods, you could wrap the trim or mod the speedo and/or interior lights. For exterior, other than the things said already, you can mod the lights. Retrofit some xenons with your own paint scheme and some umnitza v2/v4s.

I remember when I actually cared about putting audio systems in my vehicles, but the novelty wore off years ago. I now have a Harman Kardon sound system and I'm more than happy with it.

In any case, to add to what others have said, perhaps a roof spoiler too if you really want to go nuts. May be an M steering wheel? Tint?

Is your rear M-sport as well or just the front?

Definitely stick with black calipers- you would need a pretty aggressive set up to pull off any other color in my opinion.

One day, when money is no object, I would love to complete my Dinan set up with a nice set of Brembos in red (God they would look like sex on my car with the red interior and BSM exterior) but I honestly just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on brakes- not to mention what a pain in the ass and extra expense it will be to service and replace them.

Yes the rear is M-SPORT as well.

I am satisfied with my M-sport steering wheel

Yes, I feel you about the stereo to a degree.

The HK system is NICE.. very good for a factory. But the BASS just doesn't have the impact that I like.

At 37 years of age (1) 12" Sub will provide the low end I need.
But at 22 I would have put in (2) 12" subs. See how age has MATURED ME...lol???
