Talking Serious Gtechniq Detailing Session!

The weather today was perfect to give the car it's spring clean and protect, plus put the Summer wheels back on, so i spent 6 hours cleaning and coating it in Gtechniq products!

The wheels i had already coated with C5 Wheel Armour, then C2 Liquid Crystal v3.

After a full outside and inside clean including glass, leather, dash, carpets, hoover, steering wheel, door shuts, engine bay etc. then machine polish with Meguiars Ultimate Compound, then wiped the whole car down with Gtechniq Panel Wipe, i then coated the windscreen with G1 (using recommended method of polishing screen with G4 first) then coated the entire rest of the car including lights and glass with C2v3.

So now hopefully my car will stay cleaner longer & be much easier to clean. I haven't used any of these products before so i'm really interested to see just how well they work, the reviews on cleanyourcar and opinions of others on here of these products better be accurate after the money spent, and effort i've gone through to apply them!

Looking good. Had a similar full clean up today of the car. Went to town on the wheels and brakes, look like new, very happy. It's love again.

Wing mirrors holding up nicely mate, pleased with them still I'm sure.

Good effort! I managed to give both our cars a basic wash and shook the mats out today - I gave the bonnet of mine a coat of C2v3 earlier in the week and there was a massive difference in how the water reacted with the freshly treated surface compared to the rest of the car!

I just washed mine, the Crystal Serum and two coats of Exo make washing pretty light work but it still took a good two hours to do it properly, the F31s have a lot of bodywork!

Also went back to summer wheels and cleaned the winters properly so they're now in storage and I no longer have to carry a spare

Looking good. Won't you be gutted to have to give it back at the end of the lease?

Nice wok Teatson, looks great

Over the winter I've had EXO & C2v3 on one car and Reload on the other, out of the two, I prefer the reload, water is tighter and shifts from the car at lower speeds. Also in gloss it seems to have the edge, although I'm not totally comparing apples for apples as one is black and one is grey.

nice one teaston looks stunning m8. one thing i will say though as a matter of advice and nothing else is. avoid applying body polish to windows which includes compound, polish and finishing wax. these product look good initially buy cause the windows to lose their film and they will dull and collect dirt rapidly im the near future. you will start to wonder why the windows are dirty and dull a few hours after washing. even household mr muscle isnt recommended. you can buy a specific vehicle glass safe spray, and theres also a vehicle glass polish available on the market too.

That's a pretty good spec

By the time you've got that car, then moved on to another, I will still have my tourer!
