JcLusso's e90 Build Thread
THIS CAR IS FOR SALE!
Well it's about time I made one of these. I've a 2011 335i xDrive since November 30th, 2012. I bought her with roughly 10k miles. For some reason, I never got around to making a build thread, but I guess it's never to late... right? At the current time I think I'm done with the build and might even be moving on to something new. If that happens, a part-out will be in the near future! Anyway, on to the details! 2011 BMW 335i xDrive - Le Mans Blue - Black Leather - 6MT - M-Sport - Cold Weather - Premium Package - Comfort Access - Navigation - literally every other option except Auto High-beams and Auto Cruise Control Now to current the mods! - Apex Racing EC7 --- Front: 18x9.0 ET31 w/ 235/40/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport --- Rear: 18x9.5 ET35 w/ 265/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport - Custom Headlights by Tom Colon (he's the best btw! ) --- Quad Bi-Xenon FX-R Retrofit --- LED Rings --- Gloss Black Shrouds w/ Flat Black Housing - Custom Methanol Setup --- concealed under trunk floor --- Australian made meth tank for half spare wheel well --- custom pump box in floor --- stainless steel lines / fittings all around - Remus Race Exhaust --- w/ factory vacuum valve welded in before mufflers --- switched wired to front to control flap position --- secondary cats gutted - Corner Mounted Subwoofer --- JL W6v3 --- JBL600/1 under trunk floor --- Plug n Play Technik AMP Harness - LTBMW 1M Front Bumper - KW Coilovers - ER Chargepipe - HPF Intercooler - AR Downpipes - BMS Intake - JB4 w/ FSB + METH - Duke Dynamics Rear Diffuser - Factory Wheel Wrapped w/ Alcantara w/ M-Stitching - Alcantara Shift and E-Brake Boots w/ M-Stitching - Alekshop Front and Rear cameras - Hyper-White LED Interior Lights - Black Bimmiam Roundel Stickers - Smoked DEPO LED Sidemarkers - Super Bright Reverse Lights - Mirros Painted Gloss Black - 20% Tint All Around Now to the mods that I don't have anymore... and why - Vishnu Procede --- was great for first year or so. once you need support you're f*cked. --- meth kit was horribly designed and horrible build quality --- charge pipe fit was so bad I could barely get it to fit - BBS CH 19in Wheels --- great wheels but too heavy --- bent them too many times - Custom Headlights by ONEighty --- headlights looked great and the guys over there stood behind their work --- unfortunately there was just too many problems (condensation, rings etc) --- decided enough was enough and parted ways - Morel Ultimo SC Subwoofer --- thing kept blowing a 1/2 power --- other times the surround would come off --- got tired of warrantying it And now for some photos Some of the photos aren't the best since I had to dig around and some were compressed etc Some shots the week I got her Bye bye front plate Installing the KWs Vanos failed The massive HPF intercooler Remus Race Exhaust Some new rubber (Michelin PSS) for the Apex Racing EC7s LTBMW's 1M Front bumper Had to modify the oil ramps to make it up Alcantara Wheel, Shift and E-brake Methanol Setup + Installation Brand new headlights before they went off to Tom. Don't have a picture of them when they came back except on the car The quads bi-xenons + rings can be seen on here though And a snow shot from last winter....

Yea, the outer edges make it so much harder to get in driveways and parking lots. Gotta go real sideways and real slow!

Shit. Almost makes me want to create my own splitter to protect the thing. Well...if I ever get the bumper.

I want a 1M lip and then I could put a metal plate on the bottom. Problem is the lip is like $1k+!

Yeah wow no thanks. I'll likely make my own out of an aluminum composite then wrap it in a high gloss cf vinyl...or just go with the one in the groupscam.

Very nice build! Would you happen to have any night time output shots of your quad projector setup? Very curious...
