If you're going to convert, Philips Lumileds are the way to go (or their Cree based copycats). They have the LEDs aligned properly for a reflector housing, which a lot of the others do not.

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/home.aspx

heres the home page and then look for H7 LED bulbs. They also have the complete HID kit which I would like to get since I got the factory halogens. Anyone have either of these and can the LEDS just plug in? I know the HID is a complete kit but wondering if the car will throw a code because of the install.

I hope that kit you're talking about includes the times necessary for a projector retrofit and you aren't planning on running HID's in a halogen housing.

I'm debating on whether to get the Phillips LEDS or HID's and pointing the lights down to minimize blinding, I'm afraid tho the LEDS claim to be a lot brighter than halogens this is not exactly so, I saw the Horizon LEDS posts, anyone know a local source?
