This car is tempting me away from the M2......
I've had the pleasure of this, this weekend. What an absolute animal this thing is!
All this power, in a 4 door comfortable saloon that looks the absolute business!!! Can I hold out for the M2 or cave in.... I'd have mine in YMB though. The S55 is a serious serious motor!! Decisions decisions!! |

There are so many good car choices out there. Even more better choices to come for model year 2016. Looking forward to my annual late summer drivefest when I go out and test drive every car of interest and some that I could never possibly afford to own. One year a Porsche dealership gave me new 911 Targa to take home for the weekend. Love to find a Tesla Model S I could have for a day.

True...... but some prolly buy the M3 or M4 just because of the HP numbers. They keep commenting how the m4 is such a monster. I think the ultimate monster should be the M2. Now needing the 4 doors changes the whole game plan......

425 HP is the M2 CSLs job. For hard core enthusiasts. That way it won't retract from the M4/3s selling for daily driver use. I see it coming. BMW has a great plan on their hands.

Had an absolute dream drive today... Amazing car, amazing road!!
Wow this thing can shift.. It's properly, mentally fast, and handles damn near perfectly. It makes my M135i seem so soft, quiet and dull in comparison, I know the M3 is nearly twice the price but it's engineering perfection. In short, I loved it. Took loads of pictures but photobucket is being wierd so I've only got these ones uploaded so far. |

Few more now photobucket has got it's act together...
It's massively impressed me Chris, compared to the m135i it's just a whole new ball game, it really is rediculously stupidly quick, direct, noisy, taught... I'm wondering now if there will be more dealer incentives on Q2?? I'm thinking Yas Marina Blue, Sonoma Beige, DCT, Harman Kardon, HUD, privacy glass, and sliding armrest! Oh and sunroof so I can put a bike rack on it! |

I've had the pleasure of owning E46 and E92 M3's....They are special, special cars indeed..
The F8x M3/M4 have gotten too large and complex for my tastes - but they are still tasty and nasty and beautiful all in one. If you can afford it? Hell, go for it. You only live once, unless of course you're James Bond...
