Pre Owned 2013 335

Question,

I want to buy a BMW that has been in two accidents. One was front damage no frame damage reported.

Second was here in Miami it was tapped. No damage but they called the cops.

Am I still in BMW warranty? Is it voided regardless of what accident is reported?

VIN: wbakg1c5xdj217392

They are asking 32k

Accidents won't affect the warranty, though the warranty won't cover issues caused by the accidents. e.g., The warranty won't replace a part damaged in an accident, but your engine, powertrain, etc. will be covered. Seems like a good price. I'd have it checked out thoroughly to make sure the damage is actually minor.

Thank you for the response !!!!!

The accident reported front right damage. The paint actually matches the entire car.

Here's some pictures:

I honestly really didn't see anything stick out but that damage on the first couple pictures.

You should get in touch with a mechanic to do an inspection on the vehicle. If this is certified pre-owned, you should be just fine. But if you are not buying off of BMW, you should have it inspected.

Id personally call a few BMW dealers and tell them the situation, see how much they would "audit" the car for.

It's not certified pre owned

I'll see if I can find someone to come look at the car.

Even you buying it from bmw dealer, still get it checked but personally i wouldn't buy a car that i knew it was involved in in an accident even in minor accident, because it will bother me in back of my mind that car had an accident. well that's just me

Yeah in that case id be very careful. You dont want to save 1-3k to have to spend 5-6k

But if you get a dealership to inspect the car, id see if the seller is willing to split the audit cost or something.
