E92 M3 replica spoiler (Taiwan Ebay)

Just seen this on Ebay here and was wondering what you all think of it for £125 painted and delivered.
I know it is not an original part but it looks ok to me and the feedback seems good.

I paid about the same non painted, don't forget you will need the glue to stick it on, oh and they don't list Le mans blue.

Just had mine delivered from there - colour match is absolutely superb!

Not fitted it yet (weather shite!) but hope to do it weekend

Comes with the double sided tape already applied - have tried it in place and it looks excellent!

Will post some pics once fitted

Asks a potentially stupid question

How does the price compare to having a stealer supply and fit

Hmm... quite tempting, I've been thinking about one of these for a while, hopiing it will look good on my E92 SE (I know it looks great on the M-Sport).

Wonder why the pictures don't display?

Edit: Just placed the order - fingers crossed

they fit on the back bumper behind the rear wheels as sort of 'flanks' - look a little odd IMO - may suit a heavily modded (US of A style!) coupe?

I paid £126 for my genuine spoiler and £70 to have fitted, I'd worry about sticky tape holding it on as it's a water trap and over time it might get into the tape, just a thought.

BTW to buy the genuine part from a UK dealer you need an M3 chassie number.

I have today paid pretty much the same as creepy coupe to have have the spoiler fitted. Looks awesome, definitely worth it. The spoiler was ordered with double sided tape at a piss-taking charge of £6.

they charged you for that tape? unlucky lol. to be honest the tape is more resilient than u may think. the two corners are pre cut so all u have to do is lay the centre down carefully. it sticks well and hasnt budged since! i can vouch for that as i tried to move it just slightly when i put half of it down and it didnt want to budge the e46 ones are put on in exactly the same way so im pretty sure it will last

Well as long as you're happy with the spoiler you have, that's all that matters. Do you have the matching front Aero lip?

At that price I might give my dealer a visit.

Why do you need a M3 chassis number?

AlanQS: It was the real thing, and will put pics on here sooon.

An M3 chassis number is needed as some dealers pay attention to the "model specific" desgination, which allows people to order parts with chassis numbers only. Its BMW's way of preventing M3 parts being fitted to a "normal" coupe. My dealer asked for one and i gave him the chassis number of the M3 in the showroom.
