Hey everyone,

I just wanted to announce that our local group on Facebook BMWTrueNorth is now registered as a Non-Profit Organization. I want to thank all the members on here that joined the facebook chapter, it would not be possible without all of you that also came out to all our events in 2014. Bimmerpost has been a stellar forum to allow us all to come together.

This year will be our first year that money collected through events will go to a cause in need. Our fellow forum member Rob's son is battling a liver deficiency that has him at Sick Kids Hospital for a long time now, in Ward 6A. On facebook we voted on which charity to support, and Rob's son won, its close to home for us, and we are happy to help out.

How the charity will work is that we will have 4 Major Events this year, at each event, you can buy a charity bracelet customized to that event. The bracelet costs $10, and all of the money goes towards the charity. As many know from our events last year, usually food is free, live music is present, discounts on items, and raffle prizes to be won!

At our Season End Show&Shine, people that have all four bracelets will be placed in a raffle to win a grand prize worth thousands of dollars! This is a win situation for everyone! The grand prize will be announced soon.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

April 19th 2015 - Season Opening Meet at Eurocharged Canada (Get bracelet #1)

May 24th or 31st 2015 TBD - Meet at BMWofMississauga (Pfaff BMW) Chance to catch up on missed bracelet #1 (Sign up for June Warplane Museum Event on this day and enter a raffle for BMW merchandise)

June 28th 2015 - Meet at Warplane Museum (Get Bracelet #2) Raffle grand prize for this event year membership to the museum which includes a free flight on one of their warplanes!

July 2015 - Meet at Sponsors Location (Get Bracelet #3)

August 2015 - Wasaga/Airport Run (Get Bracelet #4)

September 2015 - Season End Show&Shine at BMW of Mississauga!!(Grand Prize Presented for Charity, plus trophies and raffle prizes like last year)

The dates above are tentative based on approvals by the city/private owners, and may be switched with other events.


OTHER THINGS GOING ON:

- In March 2015 I plan to be a sponsor again to our forums here and go group buys on parts for those interested.

- Aside from the meets above, we will also have our regular cruises, weeknight meets, photoshoot meets etc.

- We are working on our prizes and trophies for the Season End Show, and its going to be crazy.

Hey everyone,

I have updated the schedule with dates for our major events in April, May, and June!!

Raffle prizes at all three events!! We are working towards a free trip in one of the planes at the museum as the prize for that event!! I dont think you will be allowed to use the gunners through :P
