Anybody had to remove the belly pan on f80/82 yet?

I installed a bms stage 1 myself in my m4 and had no real issues. Did end up removing intercooler fluid tank to access tmap connectors, but was easy enough and LOVED the results. Anyway, I didnt have zip ties at the time, so i used a piece of duct tape to attach the box, and last night I finally got around to getting some zip ties and finishing it up properly. In my supreme wisdom, or should I say lack of paying attention..... PLOP! dropped a screwdriver down in the engine bay. "NO problem! I have one of those extend-a-magnet gadgets" .... and proceded to push said screw driver all the way under the engine, probably sitting on a brace or control arm or something. Anyway, ugh, going to have to drive it up on my ramps and start yanking plastic covers and the belly pan damnit. anybody had them off yet? Looks like a PITA with "this one needs to come off first, then that one, to get to this one"...... UGH!!!!!!

yikes, hopefully it didn't fall into the belts or moving parts when you fire it up again.

Damn I can't use ramps. Front end is too low and Ramps hit my carbon fiber splitters. Crap, frustrating

get some 1x4s from home depots and lay them in front of your ramp.

OP, never on this car, obv, but on my other BMW, yes, and it wasn't hard. Once you get car up, it's pretty self explanatory.
