E90/E91 angel eye headlights

Hi all,

I recently picked up my E91 and I'm over the moon with it. Would love to have some angel eye headlights and was looking at Style but I've been looking around and found these ones which are cheaper in comparison:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bmw-3er-E9...item1c4d4960db

Just wondering if anyone has tried these and what they are like. Also will they need coding or is it just plug and play?

Cheers!

Phil,

what about these?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-SERI...ht_2783wt_1384

i think this is possibly the closest youll find to OEM. and AFAIK they are plug and play headlights.

Wow those headlights look amazing.

Like the OP I'm wondering how easy they are to install?

I have a 2010 E90 LCI with halogens.

I've had a look on YouTube and also found a pdf instruction sheet too. It looks straightforward enough but think I would rather have someone who knows what they are doing to do it for fear of broken clips or trim. It's a bumper off job though.

I see MStyle can fit lights purchased from them but it is a bit too far for me to travel though. Would prefer someone local if possible.

Do like them black projectors, the chrome ones are a bit too chrome for me.

On the ebay ad for the black ones it says from 2008 but i might be wrong, i can fit lci halogens or xenons to my pre lci so surely these would fit aswel?

Been looking at retrofitting bi-xenon projectors and led ae's into my halogens, although will be near on a 1 off its alot of work and money involved

Do all LCI headlights have angel eyes? Even the halogen ones?

As above, yep. I have a pre-lci e90. I simply swapped the lights for a pair from ebay of LCI lights, and at the same time bought new angel eye bulbs which I installed before putting the new light units in.

Before:

After:

Lights were £250 from ebay, just look for a second hand pair. Easy job to swap, plug-and-play.

Xenons aren't plug-and-play though, require some re-wiring, these do not, and are OEM.
