Aftermarket CCB's for X5M/X6M

http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/b...sforms-uk.html

The guys from Surface Transforms (brake supplier for Koenigsegg One:1) are offering carbon ceramic brake rotors for M cars in factory size. Sounds very interesting.

I would do this upgrade when my car arrives to be honest. Not for performance because this won't see the track, but more for looks, less brake dust, longevity of rotors.

What do you guys think?

It will probably void the BMW service warranty for your brakes.

While I do think it could look cool - I know I'll have turned the car in before the rotors need replacing, and they'd be covered by maintenance anyway.

I'm sure the new M brakes will be more than enough for the realities of my commute, plus the twisties in the mountains, so not sure the return on investment would be there for me.... but YMMV

I will, however, be splashing out on some winter rims and tires.....
