Maybe is Shawn could help me...?
The only coding that failed to work for me/not even able to find for the f8x was; FEM_BODY > 3080 > WW_SCHEINWERFERREINIGUNG This is headlight washer disable. Mine already said active. But the washers still function. AND ACOUSTICAL_LOCK_CONFIRM I couldn't even find this module? Thus I couldn't set it to work. Any ideas? Thanks |

AFAIK, you don't need to code the acoustic lock confirm. This is just an option in iDrive.
Also, are you sure the Angel Eye brightness works? I heard this couldn't be coded to work on F8x and if I recall, the function lists in the REM module that you have described below are not the same in the F8x or later F30. Instead of "level_1" the code says something like "standard" and although you can change it, it doesn't impact the angel eye brightness at all. Do you have any before and after pics that show the change in brightness?

I have LED headlights so maybe this combination allows me to code the brightness. Don't be mistaken though, the brightness I am able to code is only for the Angel eyes when the Headlights are not illuminated (ie. not at night) the Angel eyes I am able to code relates to the brightness when the headlights are not illuminated (ie. daytime driving only). I don't have a picture, no. I know it works though as I undertook the coding in front of my garage and the increase in brightness was very noticeable... Sorry, should have checked your location !
Can you clarify your angel eye comments? There seems to be a repeat in your post that contradicts what is being said. Is the change in brightness for daytime or nighttime angel eyes? My daytime angel eyes, when the headlights are not on, are very bright already. What I have been interested in is raising the brightness of the angel eyes at night, when the headlights come on, and the angel eyes get dimmed. I have LEDs too.

My experience is the same as yours. But the very bright angle eyes in the day are now even brighter again! Night time driving the angle eyes still dim down |

Also, one final item I want to know.
How the hell can I get rid of the horrible led yellow side marker lights on the corner of each headlight? When coding I noticed they are already set to "nicht_activ" but the damn things stay illuminated |

Thx. I wonder why the UK spec cars don't allow you to set the acoustic lock confirmation? I am from the UK originally, and I seem to remember my stepfather saying they were starting to outlaw all this because "it makes too much noise" and is becoming a disturbance...

Its the same for all UK cars from the factory. With my last Audi I had a similar coding setup and I was able to turn the noise on... but at the moment the F82 isn't playing ball! |

I don't think these can be removed on the F8x. I removed them from my F30 but the same code doesn't work on F8x. The one upside is that they are far less obtrusive on F8x. They were really bright in the F30. They don't bother me as much any more.

FEM_BODY > 3080 > WipeWashMaster > CLM_CCM_WASHMODE_M > nicht_aktiv/(werte = 00) No luck with turning off amber on LED headlamps yet. Haven't really had much time to explore.

I have factory alarm. That's standard spec on UK m4s.
I have BMW Nav Prof with full iDrive etc. My car has every option apart from ceramics. Could you tell me what module and section I should be looking under? Thanks |

Not quite. HU_NBT, yes, but I made no mention about 3000. Sections are meaningless. Do not restrict your search to just a section like 3000. These vary by CAFD version. Use the search bar at the top, and search for FDL Codes by name. Understand though that the search bar searches only from the Top => Down, so make sure you start at the top of the CAFD, and do not have any leading or trailing spaces in your search term.

Cannot gear rear/side cameras to work at all. Even with the setting you have here. Thoughts?
