I haven't fitted them yet LOL.

But tbh they are recirculation like the OE ones so no blow off like the HKS or Tial ones. TBH I didn't want the blow off style as for me I don't want it sounding like a halfords special.

There is oil vapour in the charge air. It's not recommended to vent into the engine compartment.
This is one of the reasons the oem setup is a recirculation one.

I'll be fitting mine this week sometime so will see but I don't really expect any increase in noise.

Nice mods by the way. I'm only in Wolves so would be interested to meet up and check out your motor as I've been looking at RB turbos and meth....lol

Cool Russ. Look forward to it. I'd be interested to see how the vargas turbo's are.

no mate I don't think so..I do plan to get a dyno but wanted to get the race flash done first...as you said Vargas rates them at 470 and I'd be very happy with that.

Crazy stuff! One to look into in the future!

Would you recommend the Tial? Or rather something else?

Hi Raj,

Just wondering what sort of deal did you get on these DV's?

I only ask as I have just ordered the VRSF chargepipe and was going to use the standard DV's so maybe if these forge ones are available at a great price then maybe I should consider buying them.

Cheers.

I had both tial and hks. Tial is quieter and just a sound of air being released. Hks is louder with a sharp tone to it but nothing crazy. HKS is more on the ricey side but it's what I'm running now

I'm in the same boat, I'm leaning towards tial as after all it isn't a Jap car? More subtle and luxury?
